I want to share with you my amazing journey, and how I came about packing my two big suitcases plus one hand luggage, and ended up moving to London on my own. I have to admit, it wasn’t a tough decision to make, considering I never really felt at home in Germany.
So…… grab some popcorn, and make yourself comfi, ’cause you’re about to step into my new life, which is full of exciting stories and experiences.

If you already follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen my posts and stories about my visit to London at the end of April. It was my first time in the UK, and I felt at home right away, from the minute I set foot on the ground.
My best friend and I, had actually planned a six day short trip, and after enjoying the sights and sounds of London, we somehow ended up missing our return flight to Berlin. Our best intended rock n’ roll plans of traveling to the airport, straight from the club, didn’t work out. However, we decided to take advantage of this minor setback, and stay in London for three extra days.
The adventure continued, including almost getting run over by a motorbike!
After all this fun and games, I finally found myself back in Berlin, and i couldn’t help but feel like i’d left a part of me in London.
The following days, I found myself evaluating what was important to me and what was keeping me in Germany, and whether or not I could end up living in a new country, in which I barely knew anybody. But one thing was certain: I wasn’t happy.
In the following weeks, I came to realize, that there was nothing left for me in Berlin, besides my job and family. I knew that I could easily find a similar job in London, and also embark on the journey of starting my own business there. It became real, when I started talking about ‘the big step’. with my family and friends, and I was surprised and encouraged by the positive reactions.
And here I am now, starting my new life, making new friends and working hard to become who I want to be!
