No, it is not about a marriage proposal today, but it is still all about love, self-love. A subject that is not easy to approach and I don’t see it anywhere. This is something that should stand out more and what we should read about more than we do -some people never do it.

 

I started to truly love myself and know my worth not long ago, 2017 at the age of 23. After dealing with being in a family who did not really know how to show their love and appreciation for their children, but argue and fight all the time (they did not know any better, so I don’t blame them don’t get me wrong). This is not easy for me, guys. Actually at the moment I am typing this on my macbook pro keyboard, and I am having second thoughts. Let’s go back to self-love, shall we?

I bet each one of you heard this before:

 

“You have to love yourself more.” “Why don’t you love yourself?” “If you only loved yourself, this wouldn’t have happened to you.” “You can’t love another person until you love yourself first.”

 

In order to understand and act in the right direction you first have to know who you are and who you want to become. Ask yourself this question and take notes about yourself, what do YOU like? what makes YOU happy? what makes YOU sad?, and as soon as you find out do not ever settle for less, do not ever let people distract you from your path, or worst drag you down to lose yourself. In my twenty-four years of living I observed and realized people are so negative, about dreams, about jobs, about life in general. A positive mindset changes everything! And when I say everything, I MEAN IT! But we will talk about positivity in another post.

 

The most important thing on your path, discovering who you are and loving yourself is forgiveness. Forgive yourself. Yes, we make mistakes, we are human! Mistakes are important so we can grow mentally, spiritually and learn about ourselves and about life. Move on, forgive yourself and keep growing. Stay focused and follow your path.

 

I have a task for you, let’s try this out together.
Wake up everyday, look in the mirror and say: I LOVE YOU. You got this, girl!
